Shopping and partying in West Hollywood just got immeasurably easier.
Imagine the Creative City lying before you like a grand outdoor mall or entertainment center, a place you can park once and ride a shuttle to shop, dine, drink and hang out.
Imagine no more, for the West Hollywood Holiday Shuttle begins operation for three days this year leading up to the big event – New Year’s Eve.
The holiday shuttle will make a continuous loop around the City, picking up passengers at designated stops every thirty minutes.
This year’s service is offered on Thursday, December 29, 2011; Friday, December 30, 2011; and Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. (January 1, 2012).
The Holiday shuttle stops will be marked with signage boards to identify them as a route pick-up point.
The Holiday Shuttle route is as follows:
- Start at Santa Monica Boulevard and La Peer Drive. Continue eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard turning right on Santa Vicente Boulevard headed southbound.
- Left on Melrose Avenue continuing eastbound to La Cienega Boulevard. Left on La Cienega Boulevard continuing northbound to Santa Monica Boulevard.
- Right on Santa Monica Boulevard continuing eastbound to Plummer Park.
- Exit Plummer Park continuing westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard.
- Right on Gardner Street continuing northbound.
- Left on Fountain Avenue continuing westbound.
- Right on Crescent Heights Boulevard continuing northbound.
- Left on Sunset Boulevard continuing westbound.
- Left on Doheny Drive continuing southbound.
- Left on Santa Monica Boulevard continuing to La Peer Drive.

- San Vicente Boulevard and Melrose Avenue (south side of street)
- Melrose Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard (east side of street)

- Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue (south side of street)
- Santa Monica Boulevard and Plummer Park/Martel Avenue
- Fountain Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard (east side of street)
- Comedy Store, 8433 Sunset Boulevard (north side of street)
