The NOH8 Campaign will celebrate its third anniversary of “raising awareness for the fight for human equality for all.”
The City of West Hollywood will proclaim Tuesday, December 13, 2011 “NOH8 DAY” with an on stage proclamation from Mayor John Duran at the House of Blues at 8430 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
To mark this occasion, the founders of the NOH8 Campaign, photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley, will transform the House of Blues into a NOH8 Gallery Show, featuring hundreds of the 18,000+ portraits taken since the project’s incarnation in 2008.
Says co-founder Adam Bouska, “We look forward to gathering with NOH8 supporters from all walks of life, including special celebrity guests and performers.” Adding, “We come together to reflect on the progress we’ve made and the work we have left to accomplish.”
Adds partner Jeff Parshley, “There’s no better way we could think of to commemorate our mission than to create a gallery, here in West Hollywood where the first NOH8 campaign photo was taken, and let these images speak for themselves.”

As part of the festivities, Adam Bouska will be doing a special photo shoot with some of the celebrity guests, including Cooper Hefner (Hue Hefner’s son), Mackenzie Phillips, Jenna Jameson, LeAnn Rimes, Tito Ortiz and many more.
Doors to the House of Blues will open at 7pm with Red Carpet arrivals from 8-9pm. Photos will be taken on stage from 8:30-9:30pm, followed by live talent performances with DMC (of RUN DMC), Mya and other surprises beginning soon there after.
An official announcement of a special NOH8 Cruise to Tahiti will also be presented at the party.
Since its inception, funds raised by the charitable campaign are used to continue promoting and raising awareness for marriage equality and anti-discrimination.
This special evening is produced by Chad Hudson Events.
